The "Research Center for Economic Ethics" was established with the support of Chen Ding-chuan, an outstanding alumnus of the Department of International Business at Tamkang University. Chen Ding-chuan graduated from the Department of International Trade (now the Department of International Business) in 1969 and currently works in Everlight Chemical Honorary Chairman of the Company, he was recognized as an Outstanding Alumni by the "Golden Eagle Award" in 2010.
